Hello and Thank You

HI Everyone,

I have only recently found the DIS, and I have no idea how I ever went without it!! You guys are a complete wealth of knowledge and I know that my next trip to Disney will be even better than the last.

Just a little about me: I'm a longtime Disney fan. I went to the parks for the first time at 6 months of age and have been addicted ever since. I was fortunate in that my grandparents retired to Ocala so we would get to do Disney often as a child. As a teenager, we lived in Washington state, so there were quite a few dry years. When I got married and started a family (I have a wonderful almost 6yo boy) I was a stay-at-home-mom, and the loss of one income didn't leave much left for a Disney fund. I went back to work (and school) when my son started school two years ago, and this June will be our second trip to Disney together. I simply cannot wait to leave and we are all bouncing off of the walls!

I've learned so much from you all in just the few short weeks I have been reading the boards and I have changed and rearranged our plans so that I can fit in all of the fun things it appears we missed last time. So thank you for sharing your wisdom!!

Welcome young lady and enjoy these boards, you will find your self laughing and never be board and while on vacation if you ever see green - just walk up to that person and say I know what you mean.

P.S.
Use these boards carefully and try not to overdose. They can be very addictive. I lost everything, my family, my house and my dog becuase I do nothing but go on these boards. I am in the processing of trying to find a 12 step program, so please be careful so that you don't end up like me.

I've been trying to be good and do all of my work BEFORE I log on to read the boards, but it's hard. There are so many new things to read each day LOL

I am definitely picking up some lime green Mickey's for the trip now that the Home Depot thing has been explained. (Although I am slightly afraid that my son will somehow want that color in his room, and DH manages a contract paint store )
