My adr's come up in a week and i am all set except I can't decide whether I should do 1900 parkfare or chef mickeys for dinner one night??? Please help!

Depends on a lot of factors - especially the ages of your group. But we (DH, DS4 and I) love Chef Mickeys and hated, will never go back, not if it were free, 1900 PF. We found it to be too loud, the characters frightening and the food uninteresting. But like I said some groups, especially with girls, will love it.

I would vote Chef Mickeys also. We had fun at 1900 but it is loud and could frighten more timid children. I enjoyed the food at both though.

The food was a ton better at 1900 Park Fair. That being said, Chef Mickey's is fun and the characters are fun.

Both those places are about the characters not the food, so it really just depends on which characters you want to see. We ate dinner at both last week. The food at 1900 was decent, the characters great, and the restaurant clean. The only problem we had there was that we showed up 20-25 minutes before our ADR and did not get a table until 30-40 minutes after our ADR time. The salad and desserts at Chef Mickeys were great, but the rest of the food was absolutely terrible, so bad it made my MIL sick. The restaurant was horribly dirty, so bad that my husband walked in took one look at the floors and did not want to eat there. I have to admit they were disgusting, and it is not like it was the end of the night either. We got there around 6:30. The characters were great, and we got there 20-25 minutes before our reservation and got right in. We all agreed that the only way we will ever go back there is if my DD absolutely begs. We may have just got a bad night though because I know a lot of people love the place.

I did both last year and I think that all depends of the child. I did both because in my case I have 2 boys and 1 girl, for example 1900 Park Fare was mostly for my girl to have a princess experience and Chef's Mickey is for everyone.

I ate breakfast at Chef's Mickey and dinner at 1900 Park Fare and I loved them both. In 1900 Park Fare the different food stations gives you plenty of choices, including the famous Strawberry Soup. I really didn't mind the noise, I don't think it was out of this world kind of noise, just the usual one. In Chef's Mickey, if you want to have a good breakfast this place is :thumbsup2.

Totally agree. We have crossed Chef Mickey's off the list - all casseroles, all mush - pasta and potatoes with a little meat thrown in. Both places have soft-serve ice cream for dessert which is fun, but I think 1900 is nicer.

for the food, i would say 1900 PF. however if your group would prefer the charaters at chief mickeys - the interaction there is fantastic. our DS is over the charater meal thing and our DD loved seeing cindy, her prince and her nasty step family.(we can see mickey and pals in other places) ..so we will be hitting 1900 PF from now on.
