The crew seems to be ok, though injured. No details of what happened. Geraldo is falling apart covering it though...

Not a Coast Guard copter, it was a private one not involved in rescue. Both crew members cuts and bruises only. Reason for crash still not known.

I had not heard it was not a Coast Guard chopper. Glad they are ok.

Fox is reporting that it is still unclear what happened but that it was a civilian chopper and not a military chopper.

The Coast Guard is confirming that it was NOT there chopper but that the 2 crewmembers where not seriously injured. Still nothing else is known yet.

My CG Brother is in NOLA right now. He is not allowed to tell us where he is (besides NO) or what he is doing.

I am glad no one was hurt.
