So many questions so little time..........................

Looking through a brochure today, it stated the height restriction on Space Mountain to be 1.32m and another states 1.4m. Tape measure out then - my DD is 1.3m!!! Anyone know what the official height restrictions are on BTM, Rock n Roller Coaster, Indiana Jones and Space Mountain - DD could go on these in WDW (apart from Indiana of course) and will be gutted if she doesnt get to ride this time - she's 8 by the way.

Since posting the above - i have found the info (well hidden) on the official site - looks like Space Mountain and Indiana are no no's - but how strict are they?

Sue

I know at WDW they're very strict so guess it's the same at DLP, I guess if there was an accident and they'd let a child underheight on the ride, they'd be liable.

My DD was millimetres under the limit for Rock 'n' Roller coaster last year, but wasn't allowed on, on the bright side though, it's given her something to look forward to for next year.

Sorry that's not what you wanted to hear :(

Cast Members seem to be equally strict in DLP and they do try to spot under-height kids, and if they do they are told they can't ride. Cast members will measure any kids which look close to the limit at both the entrance to the attraction, and when boarding the ride.

I would tell your daughter that she can't ride this time, rather than let her build her hopes up and risk being disappointed. You could, of course, take DD to the entrance and ask for her to be measured (just in case she is tall enough).

Regards

Rob

You could always try platform shoes - I have heard of other people doing this successfully.:D

Yes or maybe I could arrange her hair to give a couple of extra inches (but never was much good at buns)

Never mind I've prepared her for the worst case scenario - at least theres a couple of 'grown up' rides she can still do.
