They were really strict when we went but if you are going in winter make him wear snow boots...worked for us!!:thumbsup2 There is usually CMs standing there measuring wee kids.

They are quite strict, they have a person at the front entrance with a stick and if the child is smaller than the stick they won't get in the queue, if they do get past the one at the start of the queue they have another one just before you get on the train.

Possibly for 1cm they won't actually be able to notice the difference on the measuring stick but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Fingers crossed son grows 1cm before you go!!

Or stilts ? lol

Thx.

you could try that!!lol

My daughter was a few mm short for Rock n roller coaster and they did not allow her on, the next day she was wearing her boots and got on...she loved it haha!!

My son is about 99cm and wants to go on alot but it will be next year for him for BTM.

if he really wants to try it then i agree maybe try snow boots the soles are thicker than normal. i would tell him though he might not get on so he wont be too dissapointed.

They noticed Jade was about 2 or mm short...the stick was actually skiffing her head :scared1:

But hey they are strict for a reason I suppose...she had a few CMs measuring her before she got on the car...they kept re checking....it wasn't that she would fall out (I asked!!lol) it was because it would scare her to death!:lmao:

did she get on in the end?? noticing 2mm is definately strict :rotfl:

They are very very strict, my daughter who is 3 years and 2.5 months was tall enough but they checked her more than once as they was postive she wasnt the min height, only to find she was well over the height restriction.

I would rather my childs safety be put first so kudos to CM's who do the measuring and the allowing on the rides.

Hmmm...I wonder how tall Kacee is? I'd love to take him on BTM (although I'd have to do it in March as the wife would never allow it!)

I have to say I was surprised that she went on ToT. She must be a very brave little girl.

She keeps asking me why the people disapeered on the ride :lmao:

As i kept telling her in the queue she wont know if she likes it if she doesnt ride it. lol

Thats a good way of getting her on there. Told the Mrs she has to go on it in May!

Deffo, that way if you dont like it you dont have to go on it again.

I cant wait till she is tall enough for Crush woohooo.

yeah they kept moving her to different floor levels and rechecking...in the end a CM kneeled down to her and said it was a VERY scarey ride and if she still wanted to do it, they were 100% defo trying to put her off!!...she did though!!:thumbsup2

that night she was crying in her sleep though! And I was dreaming about it too, I think it traumatised us too much...

BUT in the morning she wanted to do it again!:scared1: She said she loved it!:rotfl:

She actually got a docs appointment tomorrow that I made because she has a hole in the heart (VERY tiny...no drama) and for piece of mind want to know if she is ok to do the roller coasters before I take her on!:rotfl:

My brother has a pacemaker (he had a hole in his heart too) and his wonderful *cough* GF made him ride all the thrill rides. I wasnt too impressed, i had visions of something bad happening to him. Then again im always thinking the worst.

Thats awful....the time she went on RnR coaster was ages after she was told...she had to go to hospital when she was about 5 and they said it hadn't closed up...anyway the night after the RnR I had nightmares and I seriously couldn't do that again! I was thinking too much about what COULD have happened and I drove myself mad!
Say something did happen theres no way for the ride to stop is there...??

so gonna do the appointment, ask if its ok then I will have a clear mind!;)

just thought I'd add they said that she would be ok in life with thrill rides, running, but sometimes just to take it easy....
