Just wanted to know how strict they will be with height requirements. My sons are 40" and 37". Spiderman and MIB are rides both have seen and want to go on.
Thanks for your help!! ;)

And note that what you measure at home is not necessarily their marker....I've heard of kids that make a requirement on one ride but not another (with the same height requirement because the markers are a bit different).

I haven't been to US/IOA in a while, but we went to Six Flags this summer, and DD6 was a hair under the measuring stick (you could maybe have placed a credit card width between her and the stick) and they won't let them on.

It's for their safety, so I would never press it. Just don't let your kids get too excited about ones they may be close on because they may not be let on.

There will still be plenty for them to do - hope you have fun :cool1:

While Age may only be a number Amusement parks take hieght requirements seriously. Spiderman is 40 inches and MIB is 42 inches.

Here is a link to all of Universals Height requirements

http://www.universalorlando.com/hours-information/height-requirements.html

I have looked at this site and I was just curious, we were at Disney this past February so I know the requirements are taken seriously. I would not put my child in danger nor anyone else! Just thought I would ask.
Thanks for the link!!

I know there will be plenty for them to do I just thought I would ask so I don't get their hopes up about certain rides!!:goodvibes

I know what you mean....I was just pretty certain DD was going to meet the requirement, so I'm afraid I got her hopes up...she was very disappointed when they turned her away (although she did get over it with other fun rides).

Smart of you to be prepared :thumbsup2

There are some people who even if you explain that it's for their child's safety, they respond with "I'll hold them" or something similar. :headache:

It's good that you're informing yourself in advance. Child Swap is available for most attractions anyway. :goodvibes

Well you had said, you wanted to know how strict they are, so that implies if they are not strict you would allow your kids to skirt around the actual height requirements, which you now state you had already seen. Or did I miss something?

I edited my post because I did not want to it to sound like like that. I mentioned in my next reply I did not want to get my children's hopes up.
I am fully aware of the dangers and as I said I would not put my children or anyone else in danger.
I am truly sorry if you thought I was being naive. I do thank you for the link. I was curious of anyones experience with the CM's I guess, I should have asked my question differently.:)
