Height Requirement Cards

We got one at Splash Mountain two weeks ago when we measured our 3yo, and the CM said that it works like a fastpass for up to six people when she's tall enough.

We were there at the same time. Our 3 y.o. was allowed on Splash to our surprise (he's very close to the H.R.) plus his father was sitting next to him and had a hold on him. (Beleive me, we would've never let him on if we thought it was dangerous. I'm the original Nervous Nellie where my kids are concerned..I still hold on to my 5 y.o) It was great cuz the whole family got to ride. When we tried him at BTMRR, he was denied and very upset. Too bad we didn't get a card. Then another day we took him back to Splash and the the CM denied him, he said whoever let him on before could get in alot of trouble. Again, upsetting to him. No card, never even heard of this. I can see how it could be abused tho. We were fine with it, if your too short, those are the breaks...there's always next year!!

I don't suppose anyone can send me a scan of the front and back of a DL card? WDW would be good as well. I'd like to document these on the site...

I'll try to figure out my scanner and see if the cards are where they are supposed to be. :)

And if you think about it - imagine the people that would take advantage of that - by taking too small child around to every ride getting the cards and then going back for more when the CMs rotated.

Possible, but if you're a kid wiht parents who would take the time to do that so methodically, your life is already pretty much a bummer, ya know? Parents probably aren't taking trips to WDW.

And at WDW it *seems like* the height sticks outside the rides are un-manned, whereas as DLR they tend to be right where CMs are since things are smaller there, so it would seem at WDW you'd really have to take time to get to a "manned" height stick.

At at least the FP attractions, the CMs are usually right there - because its at the entrance to the standby/FP lines, and they are always looking for anyone who is too short. At the rate people fly through sometimes they can't catch them all, which is why there is one at the other end as well.

I've never really noticed them un-manned.
