Hef & Holly split!!!!!

OMG, I just cant believe it. I really (for some odd reason) thought Holly loved Hef. When I first started watching the movie I thought the same thing that most people do (wink, wink) but after a while I changed my mind about her. Now I still feel the same way about Bridget, although I still love her to pieces, and Kendra, whom I havent been able to stand from the beginning anyway. But I guess I was fooled, Im easy that way I guess. But I still hate to see them falling apart. The article said that Kendra was moving out at the end of the year too and that Hef is already seeing 19 yr old twins, geez thats cradle robbing. Oh well I dont live that kind of fast life so I dont imagine I will ever know whats going on in their minds. I wonder what will happen to the show now?

Yep Hef doesn't want a life with Holly. Bridget is my favorite girl next door. Kendra is OK but she's young and crazy so it's to expected. Awww, I'm so heart broken for Holly. I love that show!

Maybe Hef dumped her? I think she loved him. At least much more than HE loved her.

Good for her moving on. Why should she spend her youth with some married guy who doesn't want the same things out of life that she does?

I feel for Holly. Not only did she seem to really love Hef, but really loved working for Playboy. She pretty much brought the brand back to popularity with the clothing and jewelry line through the reality show. I heard she will be leaving her job at PB as well as the mansion.

I read somewhere that Holly reads these boards and if she were to happen to stumble upon this thread I wish her the best of luck in the world in whatever she does and I hope she gets her husband and family.

Not surprised. It did seem like she did care for Hef a lot but she is young and wants a family. He won't give that to her cause he's like 200 so what could she do?

I agree. Holly wants the family, house with the picket fence and the dog. Hef was not able to give her that. Holly is my fav...followed by Bridget....totally dislike Kendra. Yuck!

I dunno, I got a whole ick factor with them, but yet the show grew on me, as did the girls did. But I can't say I would be in any way happy to see my daughter or anyone elses in their shoes. I just see it as, he has the money and they "fill his needs", and that to me is prostitution. I know that is a harsh word, but it is what it is. I like the girls, love Kenda and her craziness too, but it isn't my wish for my daughter. I don't think any of them would of looked at Hef walking down the street and said hey babe. I dunno, I wish they could have the fun they want and do the things they do, but not have to "be" with a man that could be their GREAT grandfather. I love Hef for the personality he has, he is kind and caring and I think genuine in that, but he is using young girls so he can stay feeling young and not be alone. I feel it is a character flaw that he can't except that what he does is wrong. It's like taking advantage of a puppie or baby. No girl under 35 can really understand what they are doing to their selves, or their lives. Oh a naive 25 year olf could think it is just all good, like the girls now, but at 30, I think their view might change, maybe maybe not, but it should.

Think about it, what you would of done at 19-29 just those years alone, how different is what you would do today at 30+ My point is, they may never regret this lifestyle, but shouldn't they have the chance to be wise enough to have a prayer of knowing what a good decision even is? They are too too young to be tempted by money and fame. I think its the dark side of Hef, to even go there. Does he get a free pass because he is a "nice old man" or "weathly old man" If it was a guy on your street that house would ne the topic of the year there. And I am sure none of us would want our daughters in that house near that man!

Like I said to me it is wrong, gross and .... for a young ladie and great grampa to be in bed together, no matter what!

I saw Holly on some show where she said her and Criss Angel were an item. Well not directly, but pretty much implied.

I expected her to leave Hef. Afterall she wanted something that Hef would not give her. The fact that she thought that he would marry her is silly. He is already married.

Really? He's old enough to be her grandfather (creepy )and as far as I know very clear he wouldn't ever "settle" down with her. It was doomed from the start. IMO Holly just dodged a canon ball sized bullet. Now she can move on and find a normal relationship.

Hef isn't a normal guy. Were any of these relationships 'genuine?' He's had up to 7 girls living there with him at a time. Holly, Bridget and Kendra haven't been the only "girlfriends" living at the mansion over the years.

According to a former friend who spent a lot of time at the mansion "Girlfriend," for Kendra and Bridget at least, was pretty much just another job on Hef's personal staff. Of course it had some unorthodox benefits and responsibilities.

I'm also sure their contract with E must have some stipulation about them living there. It is a big house. He obviously doesn't care that his wife lives next door and 'dates' several women at a time so why would he strongly object to any of them still living there while the show is still filming (they have all committed to a 6th season). He is a business man first and foremost.

These aren't 'normal' people so we can't judge them on the standard of what 'normal' people would do.

I don't see how believable season 6 will be if no one lives in the mansion! I will watch season 5, but not sure on the next one. If it's true on how they split, I give applause to Holly for sticking with what she really wants-marriage & kids-instead of just staying cuz he's rich. But, I have heard is is having financial trouble. I don't understand why he just won't get a divorce! And if he truly loved Holly, why not just get married?

He doesn't want to get marriage again so staying married has it advantages.

Anyway he has children with his wife so I am sure he is protecting his assets for his kids. That makes sense to me from a financial perspective.
