Hedging my Bet--Groundhog related

So I am hedging my bet on an early spring.
I am putting a fresh bowl of food out for the Groundhog!

So if they see their shadow it's six more weeks of winter? It's supposed to snow here tomorrow so likely overcast. Guess we're in for an early spring. I'll take that.

So I laughed so loud my family thought I was going nuts. LOL - I will be watching the virtual celebrations to see what groundhog sees what and where.

I’m not an artsy crafts person so we haven’t been doing much craft time homeschooling but we did these and I’m so happy with how they turned out , he’s on a popsicle stick and moves in and out of his burrow ..

So groundhog day is always special here..its my youngest bday..10 today...and she keeps popping up

So far one in Nova Scotia says early spring! and the one in Puxatonny (sp) says 6 weeks of winter.

And Wiarton Willie says early spring too

I am going to say and early spring here in northern Alberta!!! It is overcast and cold. It snowed last night and they are still forecasting more yet. We have been very spoiled here so far this winter. Tonight it is supposed to dip down to -30 But that is really the first nasty cold weather we have had. So if it doesn't get colder than that for the rest of winter, I will be a very happy camper!!!!
