Heated pools in Feb?

Hi,
The Disney resort pools are heated to 80 degrees. There is usually steam coming off of the pools when we travel during the winter.

Can't say yes for sure, at ASMu, there was smoke on the water,a few years back. Still too cold for someone who swims in 90 degree water in the summer. there were people swimming even though it was a very icey morning. Getting out must be difficult.

As far as what I have heard/read, they are all heated in the winter.
We have been to WDW and found the pool heated. But, we didn't swim since we thought we'd be pretty miserable once we got out of the warm pool into the cold air.

as sue said your concern will be more with the air temp than the pool temp! We have gone in February, and while the pool was warm enough to be fun, it was a COLD run back to the room!

Thanks for the quick replies. My kids will swim in any water (they have been known to jump in a river that never gets above 60 degrees and the air temp was below 50!!---summer camp in Maine!!) But, we will be traveling with others that are not as hearty.

We were there in FEB.05 and the pools are heated to 80 degrees. Just bring a LARGE towel with you to walk back to the room. Everyone is right the temp. outside is what your going to worry about. Coming from north USA you are likely like us in Canada, anything above a certain degree and no snow is a good time to swim. Have fun

Yes, they are heated in the cooler months.

When I made my ressies for POP a couple of weeks ago, the CM said that the pools were heated to 82 degrees year round. I dont know if I will be swimming at the end of November and the first of December , but Im sure my kids will. I like it very warm when I swim.
