Heat/Humidity 1st week of October

We will be at Disney the 1st week in October this year. In the past we have been mid October and last week in October. For those of you who have been at this time or maybe live in Florida,
Will the heat and humidity be much worse at the beginning of October?

It'll be fairly the same. Still pretty warm and a decent amount of humidity.

Always slight possibility a cold front comes through and it's cold. But it's been years since I remember it being cold at all in Oct

Variable. We have had oppressive heat that week. We've had hot and dry (for Orlando) hot and humid, mild and dry or mild and humid. It can get a bit chilly at night sometimes. But mostly no. So Don't just pack shorts and Ts. I do not see any need for a heavy jacket though. Maybe just one or two sweatshirts and long pants. Maybe not. Check your forecast before you go. Be prepared for some rain. It doesn't always rain when we're there. But it usually will once. Although sometimes, it has rained and rained.

October and February have always been my families favorite time to go. Have Fun!

I live here (about 80 miles straight west of WDW). Humidity doesn't really "break" here until the end of Oct in to Nov. Expect hot summer like temps. The sun sets earlier of course so the evening temps start to come down a bit sooner but there really isn't a big difference in Sept weather to Oct weather until closer to Halloween.

We're going at the same time. Hope it isn't too bad as we're not used to this type of weather (Pac NW).

We've been that week several times. The first time we did October the weather was great. Cooler temps and some light rain that kept the heat at bay. We thought we had found the "perfect" time to go. We went again the next year at that time and it was middle of the summer hot the entire week.
