My Wife and I have a hearing impaired 6yr old daughter ( profound left and moderate to sever right ) and two great older brothers ( 8yrs and 22yrs ) who love their little sisters tremendously. We all are wondering if there are any other parents with hearing impaired children that visit D.L. on a regular basis who can help us with our stay.
What we really want to know is the best hotel room to stay in to see the fireworks and experience the Disney Magic. We have stayed at all three Disneyland park hotels and the best view we had was the Disneyland Hotel. I really want to stay at the G.C. with the downtown Disney view and was wondering if anyone has stayed in these rooms and what you think.
Does anyone know of any special accomadations that Disneyland might make for the hearing impaired, I mean Disneyland is very visual so she always has a great time but we were just wondering if we were missing something extra for our child.
