Hearing aid????

My personal peeve is central air conditioning -- with my aids on I can hear the air hissing through the vents. I've worn the things for 5 years, but it still sounds like I'm sitting in a snake pit.

My newest aid, which I bought last December, filters out the small constant noises like that. My dh sits next to me with his laptop, and I can hear it's fan when he first turns it on. But then, after a few moments, my hearing aid filters it out. I'm glad he sits on the side with the new aid!
DH has had hearing loss all his life, and waited till age 50 to get an aid. He does not like it, and rarely wears it. But he lip reads, and sometimes does better than I do!
