I have NEVER been to Disney before (I KNOW!) and am planning my first trip. My DH and I like to eat healthy 99% of the time - We do have some ADRs for dinner (California Grill, Jiko, Flying Fish), where we will splurge, and I know the CS seem to have some salads, but I am not sure about snacks. I've seen some fruit cups - do they have those readily available in the parks? So far I just see french fries, dole whips, popcorn, and sooo many sweets! I will have to splurge on a Goofy Candy Co Treat, but I can't eat like that every day.

cups of grapes are offered at Electric Umbrella in Epcot, and probably a few other counter services places.

Also many offer the sealed bag of apple slices (think McDonald's apple fries). They are quite good.

The minnie frozen bars are not bad for healthy option. Made from real fruit and not ice cream but tasty.

there's a place in MK that has a variety of fruits you can get with snack credit if on the DDP. Watermelon, pinapple, grapes, pickles, fuit cups ect.

Oh great!

I am not a big snacker, but its good to know there are fruit options if the mood hits.

Or one never knows, we might just throw caution to the wind on our trip!!

Gosh, I'm not sure where I saw this but I know that there are a few places that offer veggies & dip with the kids meals. They may let you get one as a snack credit on the DDP or pay OOP. I'm sure that somebody knows where this is...! :confused3

I plan on getting some vegetarian chili at at the MK Columbia Harbour House as a snack one day. I'm going in a cold part of the year so I can't think of a better warm snack than a small bowl of healthy veggie chili. Yum!

I'm still looking for some healthy snacks, but it seems like it's almost all just fresh fruit or veggies. That's great, but I would love a little more healthy creativity! We'll probably end up getting lunch size portions of healthy-ish sandwiches, wraps, etc and sharing them as snacks.

I know in the food court at Pop Century they have fresh fruit bowls - big enough to share, as well as veggies and dip, and fresh salads but the best is the apples and caramel. Crispy apples and smooooooooth golden caramel - life doesn't get much better.

In the MK fruit is offered at most counter service places. In EPCOT, Sunshine Seasons in the Land has many fruits/carrots&celery. In AK there is a fruit cart that has many fruits and veggies near the Safari ride. There are carmel apples in MK in the candy store on Main St, in DHS in their candy store as well as DTD. Most food courts at the resorts also offer fresh fruit and veggies. I used ALL my snack credits for fruit!! There are also pretzels in Germany and many other carts as well as nuts in EPCOT.
