Hello,

I have read a lot of really great posts here about food, but I rarely see anything about healthier options at the counterservice/quick service areas in Universal. My family doesn't mind the occasional burger and fries, but we don't typically like to eat fried foods everyday. We love Three Broomsticks and Leaky Cauldron BUT - we don't really consider these options "quick", particularly when the parks are packed. Does anyone have a favorite "go to" quick service Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure meal that is slightly healthier, and if so, where do I find it?

Healthy choices are definitely limited in IOA but I would suggest Thunder Falls Terrace or, possibly, Captain America Diner - they at least have rotisserie chicken and some salads.
There are more options at US, particularly the new Today Cafe and Lisa's Teahouse in Fast Food Blvd, but also some options at Monsters Cafe.

This is why I usually eat TS at Universal, you have a much greater variety of healthier choices. For me, anyway, the TS is not that much more expensive and same day reservations or even walk-ups are much easier to get than at Disney.

City Walk has great selections and a much wider variety than inside the park. I find the food in the park to be typical fast food that's really expensive. I really liked Mythos though when I went there last, but that isn't quick. It will take a little longer to walk out of the park, but it can be a nice break midday.
