Well, my dgf and I will be staying at the Fort in a few weeks and we have decided to drop some weight (while on vacation :scared: ). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of some good off-property salad/healthy buffets that won't break the bank. I know of Ponderosa's hot & cold buffet, but I'd rather not pay $9.99 for a salad. Any advice would be very helpful! :thumbsup2

Thanks

Have you ever been to Jason's Deli? We have them around here and I love them. I've never been to the one's in Florida but there are 2 in Orlando (don't know how far they are from the World). It's $6-7 for all you can eat salad bar (and there is a lot of yummy stuff on it), they also have healthy soups/sandwiches, all of their stuff is also trans fat free. Check out their website at: www.jasonsdeli.com

Sorry, I don't have an answer and was wondering what others have suggested.

You could pack some of your healthy snacks and breakfasts so that you can at least plan good choices that way.

Oh, also Sweet Tomatoes is really good, healthy, (and yummy) salad bar type of place. They have three locations in Orlando. You can check out their menu and locations at www.sweettomatoes.com and their prices are great!

**They also have a nutrition guide

Another place a friend told me about that she raves about is Crispers Fresh Salads and Such (www.crispers.com). I was just looking at their website and their food looks amazing! They're also located in Orlando but I don't think they have a salad bar/buffet.

Good luck!
