Hi Everyone,
My plan is to eat healthier this time in disney. I want to go with a semi-plan. Anyone know of quick service locations that offer healthy (or healthier) options?
Thank you

We go to Epcot a lot...

The Land has a food court with quite a few options. We stopped in there recently and had a healthy meal of grilled salmon and green beans.
The Yakitori House - QS Japan, also has a teriyaki salmon dish, sushi, and some other things too. You can likely find one or two healthy options at most places.

As bigbabyblues said, "healthy" means different things to different people. You would be best served by just reading the menus of the CS restaurants for items that fit the bill for you. It is certainly possible to find non fried, lower fat options at many places in every park and most food courts.

I am meaning burgers and fries, no fried foods. Looking for veggies and vegetables. I have looked through some menus but there are a lot. I thought someone may have experiences with some places..

I agree with Columbia Harbour House at MK and Seasons at Epcot. I'm not sure about AK and DHS. There are so few choices at DHS, anyway.

A lot of places have some sort of salad. I like the chicken blt salad at Restaurantosaurus at AK. Other things, maybe Sunshine Seasons or Tangeriene Cafe at Epcot, maybe Flame Tree bbq at AK (they have/had a nice fruit plate). I don't eat burgers at all and my family rarely does at WDW. Most resort cs places have a station with a couple different kids of meat, mashed potatoes and choice of a couple veggies (I'm thinking of CBR but have seen it at a value or two also).

What you see on the menus is what there is. I agree you will be able to find some healthier options everywhere but only you know if it will meet your needs.

Tangierine cafe in EPCOT
Pecos bills - you could do the fajita platter without the tortillas. I was very surprised at how tasty it was.

There are actually healthy options at most, if not all, larger counter service restaurants. Most will have some sort of salad, wrap, grilled chicken sandwich, or lighter option. For example, if you look at any random quick service restaurant menu, Pecos Bill which is a pretty popular MK option, has a southwest chicken salad, and a grilled chicken fajita platter. Cosmic Ray's at MK has a greek salad and vegetable burger. At Animal Kingdom, Flame Tree BBQ has a turkey breast sandwich with fresh fruit. They pretty much ALL have something, unless it's one of those small kiosk type things where they only have 2 options. We don't eat much fried food either, and we aren't fans of shoveling in huge quantities of meat, especially for lunch :) But food that is decently healthy is everywhere.

There are surprisingly a lot of options, you just have to know where to look for them!
At Mk:
-Columbia Harbor House: DELICIOUS salmon! Seriously, it's surprising how good it is for a QS, comes with cous cous & broccoli but I usually get just broccoli, they also have a great tuna sandwich, and any of the sides here you can sub in brocoli. Their salads are alright.
-Cosmic Rays: a great veggie burger, their sandwiches here are also yummy, but SUPER heavy bread, I usually end up taking the top off and eating it open faced, they've also got a delicious "tortellini salad" don't let the name fool you, there's only a little bit of pasta on a bed of spinach and other veggies, yum! Also they have mango gelato here that's pretty much just pureed frozen mango, great ice cream alternative!
-Pecos has changed their menu recently, but they have tacos/fajita style things now with a toppings bar, get chicken or vegetarian and load up the toppings (lightly on the sour cream) and you're golden.
-If Diamond Horseshoe is ever open they have great salads there!

AK:
-The Harambe market place has some nice kebabs,
more snack type items
-Pizzafari (if its open) is YOUR BEST breakfast bet, they've got quinoa oatmeal and a bunch of other healthy options, it's incredible!
-Flame Tree has delicious sandwiches, an amazing looking fruit bowl, a Jamaican jerk chicken salad, and you could sub out the beans on the 1/2 chicken meal to some fruit that usually comes with the kids meals!
-Yak & Yeti: They've in the past had a curry special that I usually go for, heavy on the rice though, there's not too much here

DHS:
-I almost ALWAYS go for ABC commissary here, I'd heard such horrible reviews about it on the dis that I always skipped it, but it's actually awesome! They again, have had salmon & broccoli like CHH (in the past though i dont see it on the menu now, it might have changed) and some awesome salads!

Epcot:
-There is SO MUCH here! (although not in FW)
-France has some delicious salads in their bakery
-Morocco is a GREAT spot for healthy options, their veggie platter is amazing, and they've got some other pita platters that are delicious
-Japan has sushi, rice dishes, it's generally all great
-Norway's bakery has some yummy sandwiches, including a delicious smoked salmon open faced one, YUM
-Mexico can be tricky, they use that gross liquid cheese on some of their things, check the menu accordingly, and use your own judgement

There's almost ALWAYS an option to change out your side dish, you can sub in carrots, grapes, apple slices or maybe even a yogurt (though i'm sure its FULL of sugar) instead of your fries at any location. I also bring in snacks with me, and try to eat breakfast out of the room (those mickey waffles are too tempting) to try and ward off of eating pretzels, ice cream and cupcakes throughout the day!

Earl of Sandwich in Disney Springs has a lot of good salad and wrap options. Very reasonably priced as well!

The few that come to mind would be Columbia Harbour House for their salad or vegetarian sandwich, Flametree has options I would consider healthier, and Sunshine Seasons. There are probably a lot of places you could find salads. Be Our guest also has many options that are not fried foods. They have a slow cooked pork with a side of veggies and mashed sweet potato. Not sure if they add things do it when it's not allergies but we got the sweet potato with no added butter or anything.

BOG has a Tuna Nicoise salad that is awesome! The tuna is seared just the way I like.

Bog has a quinoa salad and you can get the dressing on the side. You can sub out grapes or carrots for fries at most qs places. Disney is the one place my diet takes a back seat but not for every meal. Watch the salads some have more fat and calories than fries.

I agree with the others; there are many choices no matter where you are to have something other than a burger and fries! Last trip, DD and I did finally eat one burger last day (oops - she did have one another day but it sucked; matter of fact both times it did but oh well). We ate very well, splurged on many treats but also had really good food (we had the QSDP and only ate QS meals the whole trip).

Just peruse the menus either on Deb's site www.allears.net or Disney's site.

We do splurge on a few things that we know aren't "healthy" like Yak & Yeti Local Foods - we get the chicken that is fried and rice (which I don't eat now since watching my carbs) but it's yummy. Also she has lots of sweets! But we've had good salads (I either ask for dressing on the side or lightly dressed - I hate lots of dressing). Tangierine Cafe has a veggie platter that is so yummy and way too much food at Epcot. Oh I could go on and on, just look at the menus! Plus, if you're like me, planning is fun....

Weird - I usually get a vegetable sandwich at Backlot Express (DHS), but when I went just now to look at the menu online, it was not listed any more. I think I had it in September...

There are surprisingly a lot of options, you just have to know where to look for them!

AK:
-Pizzafari (if its open) is YOUR BEST breakfast bet, they've got quinoa oatmeal and a bunch of other healthy options, it's incredible!

OMG! Is this the same as the quinoa oatmeal at Boma! That's my most favorite thing on the Boma breakfast buffet!
