Tricare Young Adult is an excellent value-we used it as a bridge for my son between when he turned graduated from college and his coverage under Lockheed kicked in-it was almost the same price. and FWIW-the ACA only requries that the option to continue coverage under a parents health plan-not that that coverage be continued with out additiona premium. The health plan offered by my civiian employer ( a major defense contractor) already costs 1260 a month for family coverage-and then they want an additional premium to cover young adults.
