Just to let those of you who are using the Unoficial Guide's tour plan:
The MK Railroad stop at Minnie's Toon Town is not operating. You can't get on or off there. It really messed up our tour plan, as we lost considerable time trying to find it, and once we did, we found out it was closed.

I didn't notice wheter the 2004 U-Guide mentioned this in it's tour plan or not. We used the 2003 outline, but I did go over it in the 2004 plan and didn't notice any reference/difference regarding the railroad stops.

We had a great time though! Wish I would have had more days in the parks! But did get in all major rides, save Test Track and Mission Space, which after the Aladdin simulator at Quest, I figured it was a good thing I didn't ride Mission Space.

Thanks DISBOARDS! You're the GREATEST!!!

This is just a temporary closure. They are rebuilding the station in Toontown and it will be opened again when the work is done.

Hi MomLovesDad,

Thanks for using the Unofficial Guide. I believe the closure of the train station in Toontown is temporary, and started around May 24. If re-construction is not already underway, it should be started in the very near future.

Thanks again for reading the Guide.

Sincerely,

Len Testa

I have posted several threads regarding this throughout the course of the refurbishment I guess you just missed them. The station was closed the end of May for refurbishment and was due to reopen today however they ran into some delays and it is not due to reopen on June 26. The guide books would not advise you of any refurbishments in the park, there is no way the authors would be able to know about them... You just have to check the weekly times guide for attractions that are not open.

No, the times guides are not avalaible online, they are avalaible at the parks (or the hotel front desk). They tell you the times and locations for the character greetings, the parades, fireworks, shows in the park as well as any attractions that are down for refurbishment and that have different operating hours from the park hours for the day. They are printed on a weekly basis for each park.
