Heads Up on MK March Hours Changes

For those of you planning trips within the next week or two, you may want to check out the hours. There's been some substantial changes from about 3/11 through at least 3/26, including extended hours, the addition of 2nd Spectro parades, later Wishes.

I'm sure most will cheer the change, however I had really been looking forward to an early night of spectro and wishes so my kids wouldn't have to stay up too late. All that changes now, of course.

Wow, that is exciting. I wish MGM would add about an hour to their closing times too.

Thanks for the heads up! Glad they've added hours, but I guess that means they're anticipating big crowds next week! And we'll be there too! Can't wait.....

Does that mean they anticipate large crowds? I guess that is good news (longer hours) bad news(perhaps more people) for those of us who are there during this time! Gail

That is exactly what it means. They only raise hours to the levels they are showing if they know crowds will most likely be very large.

I'm so excited!!! The hours for the first day we get there have been extended to 11pm, with Spectro happening twice! Instead of doing other things (DTD, grocery shopping) the night we get there, we are going to the MK! Whoo-hoo!

Didn't this change occur a few weeks ago? Not to discredit MulanMom... but I just got all worried they changed hours a second time.. making all my plans invalid again..

I am very excited for the double showing of Spectro and the late night closing... it's the least they can do since they took away E-Nights for the time being.

I believe that they just changed in the past day or two. The week of the 14th changed the closing time till 10PM and some noghts 11PM.

There were some drastic changes a few weeks ago. Then even further changes real recent. Definetly means they are expecting larger crowds. So I guess you have to take the good with the bad. I don't personally know which is better. I think I kind of like the shorter hours w/ lower crowds.

Wr are leaving tomorrow I didn't notice any change in the hours for our stay (3/8-/13)..Mk still closes at 8pm . It looks like the next week has some real nice hours. I'll have to report back to let you know how the short hours work out next week. I have a sneaky feeling we will have short hours AND big crowds. Not that I'm a pessimist or anything...

Ahhh yes... I see that during my stay (3/11-3/17) the MK's hours have gotten a little more extended..

I am a little worried if huge crowds, but I went last year during this time and did not have a problem at all...or maybe I just didnt realize how small crowds could be as I hadn't been in several years..

KBFinFan...I had checked last week and some minor changes were made. When I checked last night, the changes for 3/16-3/20 were substantial with added hours and Spectros. Back in January, I printed the calendars for each park and made changes on those as I checked. The hours for the following week looked like they were extened as well.

Maybe the hours for the days you are going haven't changed much!
