headphones on virgin planes?

Yes they are the 2 pins type and the sort that go over your head as opposed to in your ears.
We normally take our own though as we bought the 2 pins adaptors from Maplins (at least I tihnk that's where we got them from)

confused now, I had a pair I threw away at the weekend, it was just a regular 1x 3.5mm jack, used in laptop socket no problem.

They are normal 3.5mm single plugs, and they are rubbish ! Take your own if you have them and want to actually understand what is being said in the movies !

Sorry - looks like I am getting my airlines mixed up :rolleyes1

I travel on KLM a lot and they are definately 2 pin - I honestly thought Virgin were too but I stand corrected :thumbsup2

we use our ipod ones so def normal one pin connectors

Its worth paying a little extra for the noise canceling headphones. They work a treat and drown out the engine noise a treat !
:thumbsup2

Definitely. We got a cheap pair in Florida Mall a couple of years ago and I certainly notice the difference when I take them off. When we flew out to Chicago a couple of weeks ago with BA they actually handed out free noise cancelling headphones.
