Does anyone have any recommendations for a brand of headphones for a toddler on a plane? Next saturday we're flying down for a week at Vero Beach & WDW, i have some stuff downloaded on my ipad to help entertain her on the plane, but definately want headphones so not everyone can hear Sofia the First!!!

I know for outside of a plane the volume control ones are good but saw someone on here mention those aren't great for the airplane because the ambient noise is too loud to hear very well with them.

Any recommendations? There are so many on amazon and i'm just not sure which would be comfortable on her.

I used 2 pair of these for our twin 2 year old grandsons on a plane and they would wear them for about 40 minutes before getting tired of them/or the movie. I would listen to them first to make sure the volume wasn't too loud. Quite happy with them overall.

we bought the headphones with the animal face, lion to be exact, for her to watch her dvd player but we tried to get her used to them at home but she refused them. There was so much noise on the plane that i didn't think the dvd player on low would bother anyone. It was funny though, i guess it did.. the funny part being the flight attendant trying to talk to me from the aisle seat, i was second seat in from the aisle, and i could not understand what she was saying because i could not hear her at all with all the 'white noise' of the airplane. Finally she spoke up and i figured out what she was saying and said that they can hear my dvd player all the way in the back, from mid plane. I turned it down of course. We'll hope she'll wear them this time.

I would get her used to wearing them at home/in the car with her age she may want nothing to do with them. We just flew JetBlue with DS whos 20 months and he wanted NOTHING to do with the TV's or the headphones he was more interested in coloring, books, eating, really anything besides the tv.
Good luck!

My DD really likes the LeapFrog ones that are easily available at Target, Walmart, etc.

Hope you find something that works for your little one.
