I hate being behind someone that's driving a car and that person who is driving can't see over the dashboard. It's like being behind a headless driver. It looks like the car is possessed and driving itself and it really is distracting and it creeps me out. :scared1:

And 99.9% of the time these drivers are going 20 miles under the speed limit and have a line of cars stuck behind them that cannot pass.

The only people who are worst are what we in NJ call The Left Lane Dicks. They are the people driving in the left lane on the parkway or turnpike and going the speed limit or below. If you are going to drive that slow get out of the left lane.

Our state has a law that you keep to the right except to pass. And you are supposed to go with the flow of traffic or else you are impeding the flow of traffic and you can get a ticket.

Then there are the dopes who don't know how to use their blinkers.

Vent over.

:rotfl2: I don't like driving much anyhow and yes these drivers do drive me crazy!!! I liked that "headless drivers" I will have to remember that for the next time I see one!

I really HATE when a car is going under the speed limit, that is just as dangerious as going to fast!! Or when you see a cop and then others think they can't pass them and have to slow WAY down!!! Hello, they won't give you a ticket if you aren't doing something wrong!

This is a good, it made me laugh and I didn't drive anywhere today!

My brother is a police officer and pulled over a "headless driver" doing 15 mph in a 40 mph zone. When he approached the car, he thought it was Yoda. :yoda:

I agree about the headless drivers. It seems they are often driving the biggest cars on the road too....ones that make it even harder to see over the dash. :sad2:

I've never understood how people (Mostly guys) can lay the seat all the way back and drive. DD15 and I were at a stop light once and looked over. Both of us looked at each other wondering where the driver was. Then I noticed his head through the back window.

The headless drivers crack me up though. They usually have the seat pulled all the way up to the steering wheel, both hands on the wheel (10 and 2), and going 15 mph, and look paniced because everyone is ZOOMING past them.

I'm only 5' 1" (maybe) and I'm just 3 inches over the limit of needing a booster seat!!!!!! My father always said I look like 8 knuckles and tuft of hair while driving. Enjoy your laugh at my expence!!!!!:rotfl:

I do that if I'm really tired so that I can take power naps at long red lights.

Thank you! That made my day. :rotfl:
I never knew that much water could come out my nose.

The headless drivers I see in Trenton are mostly gangbangers who recline in the driver's seat to keep their heads out of the line of fire.

LOL, my DH will put the seat back if he is driving my DDs Neon. He is 6'5", his line of vision is above the windshield if he didn't recline the seat. (he's not a 'gangbanger', but he likes to think he is tough;))

Whoa! 6'5" is a mighty tough fit in a Neon!

LOL, yeah it is. He does look really silly driving it. Even at 5'9", I have to drive with the seat back as far as it will go, but I don't recline it like my cool 'low-rider' DH. ;) :rotfl:

There's also the people who think they're perfect drivers and complain about everybody else. :)

Uh-huh. I'm 4'11" and realised this morning as I was following a headless driver that I am too. :rotfl:

Want to start a club???:hippie:

Sure, but membership requirements could state that 15mph white knuckle drivers need not apply. I mean, I *do* live in MA. We have a driving reputation to uphold :rolleyes1   :scared: :drive: :moped: :car:

Deal....I live on LI, NY (not the city) and they are just as bad.

OK!! Thats three of us, I'll start a thread for the club but we need some rules!!
1. 5' 1" and UNDER ONLY

2. HAVE to drive the speed limit!

????????????
