Heading over to Boston Marathon to cheer...

in my WISH shirt. I know Kate is running, saw it on the race thread, and I had thought before I had talked to another WISHer on here that was. I hope I do see them or they see me and the shirt and know I am there to represent WISH and cheer them on!

Funny story, I came downstairs in my WISH T-shirt. I've had it for like a year now. My 9 year old says "What does WISH stand for? Walt Is So Hot?"

Uh, no dear, it doesn't.

I think watching these amazing folks today may be the kick in the pants I need to get my regular routine going again. I've been running a little more now that the weather has improved but I really want to get on a 3x a week schedule again. Nothing like seeing these inspiring people pushing themselves to make you want to get back in the game!

I saw her! I think it was her. I saw a female WISHer so I am assuming it was Kate! We saw each other as she ran by and waved and it was SO exciting! My voice is hoarse I screamed so much! We had a blast. We had signs and cheered, the kids got a million high 5s from different runners. It was so exciting and inspirational!

Boston Marathon in 4 hour 22min!!! She is happy and will update us when she gets back home in the UK on Wednesday!!!

Allyson!!!! I'm just about to post the biggest race report ever (sorry in advance) but wanted to thank you so so much for your support. It was amazing that we were able to see each other and i was so excited to see you. I really hoped that showed! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. You summed up everything that WISH means to me and words cannot express the boost it gave me seeing you. Hope you had a great day cheering and your voice has recovered. Sending a giant virtual hug!
