Ok, we will be heading to Vermont (Burlington) to pick up the New Rig. Need help with campground recommendations. We will be leaving Fl heading up 95 until we get north of NYC, then 87 till Albany or Glens Fall area. Looking for any suggestions/help I can get. Thanks:thumbsup2

Suggestions where? There's a whole bunch of folks here that can help but give them a general area of where you'll be.

NC? Va.? DC? Pa? Narrow it down a little.

Leaving Fl ending up in VT. Looking for good stopping places in-between. Open to anywhere along I95 and I87. Thanks

When we travel from NY to FL we stay at Flying J in Latta SC not a campground but it works for us. We have also stayed at on in VA & GA

Fort Ann exit on the 87 has a couple campgrounds. The problem is a lot don't open till the week before Memorial day! It's cold up here. We just got back from the Fort in April and live just 15 min north of Burlington. We just normally stop at any Walmart Supercenter. There are always other campers there, not super quiet but it does the trick. We don't like to stop to much on the way down because we want to get to the Fort as soon as we can. If there is anything I can help you with let me know. Good Luck

Yeah there is still not alot open in this area yet as the last post said it still gets cold, in fact there is a freeze warning tonight here in mass, and I can tell you it's colder in VT.

King's Dominion Campground near Richmond is farily nice (do NOT stay at the Americamps near Richmond unless you want to hear road noise all night) and not far off the interstate. KOA near Fredericksburg, VA is nice place with a number of pull thrus also not far off the interstate.....just seems like it. DH and I swear that "country Miles" are longer than "city miles".
