I thought that we could all share how we are going to handle being in the parks, and how we are going to tackle the whole thing...
Locals and AP holders, We are going at the end of the month, and staying at Hilton Bonnet Creek on points... 2 nights and have park reservation for MK and Epoct... working on ADR's right now...

So here's our plan of action!

Washing our hands frequently, like constantly...

Mask and bring extra into the parks -

Plenty of hand sanitizer, both spray and gel...

Wipes ( Clorox wipes) -

Straws for drinks, bottled water... I started this when the whole straw thing was going on... I bring a few in a ziploc in my purse..

Small container of hand soap - sometimes it is hard to get to the soap dispenser with out reaching around or over someone..

Wipe and re-wiping the hotel room as we come and go - I have done this for years, so this is not something that I will ever stop doing...

Self awareness while in the parks... social distancing - being aware of groups bunching up, and steering around them

Following the markers for standing in line... taking direction from CM's

Personal accountability - following the rules- being thoughtful of others around me- and using good judgement - being aware of my surrounding especially while walking...

Thanking the CM's for being there...

Patience and more Patience

Let the magic begin, and pixie dust to all

First and foremost, I plan to be a considerate human being. No trying to ignore mask rules or make CMs have a harder day because of me.

In my park bag, I plan to carry: hand sanitizer, extra disposable masks, and a few wet wipes. I also plan to have all of my funds for dining and souvenirs on Disney Gift cards, rather than carrying cash like I normally would.

For fun, I bought a bunch of Disney themed stickers at the Dollar Store to use to decorate my masks! Might as well have. Little fun with things where possible.

I was at AK today and Disney Springs the other day. I’m planning on making a TR

One thing I wish I would have brought was something to wipe the sweat so it didn’t go in my eyes.

I was bagless today. And my pockets were filled with hand sanitizer, passes and ID, and passholder event email confirmation. And I carried a frozen water from home. Which unfroze very quickly!

When we went to Disney Springs the other day, I brought a small leather purse that I could wipe off.

The hand sanitizer that Disney provides is a gel that is very sticky compared to the foam I was expecting.

this goes for FL in the summer in general, I think it'll be really important to stay hydrated. I was at Busch Gardens last weekend and it was SO easy to forget to drink when wearing a mask, I'm guessing because you won't be just casually sipping on a water while walking around. I definitely noticed this at Busch Gardens and my family and I got dehydrated and cranky much faster than usual. When we go in a little over a week I'm going to try to make sure that everyone drinks at least a small cup every hour or so!

@LovesTimone thats a fabulous list. Wish I could find some Clorox wipes 😔

@lovethattink how was bag check going speed-wise? I’m afraid the next step will be clear bags and I love my little sling bags which are NOT clear. I’d be fine with a clear bag in principle but they’re hard to find in good shapes (due to the stiffness of the material).

I didn’t have a bag. Loaded my pockets and had no trouble.

Yes, saw that (smart!) but I thought you might’ve noticed. Did you notice if there were still paper towels in the restrooms?

Found this in my photos.

I didn’t look for paper towels or dryer. I let my hands air dry.

There were paper towels at the MK yesterday.
On a side note, I really appreciated those small, frequent mini parades down Mian Street.
they are the best, I hope they keep them, but once meet and greets return they can't
The AK situation is that most restrooms are now only hand dryers, but you can usually find paper towels next to the baby change area

When we mobile ordered at Satuli canteen on Tuesday we were only able to pick a time that was 30 min later than the time we were actually ordering, so the ability to eat right away was gone. The biggest problem was that we ordered and the credit card charged then a screen came up that said, sorry not available, search restaurants nearby??? There was a big group crowded at the entrance waiting for their mobile orders to be ready and we had to wait for a manager to tell us that they are at capacity and even though we ordered and paid (pending) the system will shut down and you can't go to that restaurant. Not what you want to hear when you are "hangry" and already thought you had to wait 30 minutes for your time slot. The pending charge was reversed right away so that was good, but we went and rode FOP then tried Satuli again but again the time slot was 30 minutes ahead. We waited anyway because we were really hungry!! So, just be prepared that you will have to think ahead to eat, and may experience this problem.

are you sure it was 30 minutes later and not like this? they are now putting times, so it could be "now to 30 min later"

I have a question about the bag check. It shows a picture of a wallet with the cc's sort of out of it. Are they saying you need to put your cc's in a bag? I generally go bagless, my cell phone has a little pocket on the back that holds a few cards so I know that would go in a clear plastic bag. I don't carry keys but every once in a while I stick one of those bi-fold type wallets with my room key if I'm staying at Dolphin (which is a card) and some cash in my other pocket. Would that go in a clear plastic bag? I know if my son has his phone charger it needs to. Can you put it all in your own ziplock back to save time and just flop that in whatever they are doing for those or does everything have to be in a separate bag?

yes have it all in a ziploc clear bag before hand ad then you just put it in the bucket and walk through

No it was not like your picture. We started at 11:55 and the arrival window was 12:25-12:55 so we gave up and rode FOP and tried at 1:05 and the arrival window was 1:35-1:55, it was ready at 1:37 and then we walked up to the restaurant.
