Headed to DL in 10 days... and I just broke my leg.

I spent the morning at the hospital and I have a stress fractured tibia (lower leg). I've been training for one of the RunDisney half marathons. SIGH. I'm going to the sports medicine doctor tomorrow to see if I need a boot or a cast or whatnot.

I'm betting I'll HAVE to rent a wheelchair as crutches just won't do. I'm bummed, but I'm not going to let it totally ruin the magic. Any advice on visiting DL with a broken leg?

Rent an ecv from an offsite company. Hope you heal quickly!

Nooooooooooo!!!
I'm so sorry to hear that. I would ask the doc what he/she says but I think your SOL.
FWIW, you don't want to try and spend an entire day walking around DLR with crutches - you'll be even more miserable.
(I know someone will now post that they strolled on crutches all over Europe or something but I'm telling you from experience it's painful and it sucks.)

Rent a cart, park in the handicapped area. And motorscooter on like a boss. Make the most of it.

Bet you get more with it than without it.
