Headed back in october!

My DH and I are total opposites. I love the beach, he likes the woods. I could happily go to Disney twice a year and he is just not a big fan. We've taken two family trips in the past five or so years to WDW and that's plenty for him so my new plan to get more disney time for myself is to give each one of my kids a solo trip with mom. I've taken my older daughter twice by myself already so now I'm taking my oldest son who will be 8 by the time we go in October for a long weekend. I'm going to get a trip in each year by taking one at a time and so my DH can stay home with the other kids. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!

That sounds like such a great time! Luckily DH isn't burnt out on Disney yet. I fear in a few years he may but then I plan to do llike you are and start taking the kids one at a time each year. We'll be taking our first October trip this year so I'm looking forward to seeing how much different it is from Late January when we usually go.

We switched it to late September because of the school calendar but close enough!
I absolutely love it in October. Our favorite thing is MNSSHP so we are making time for it on this trip. It's great because it's warm enough for the pools. You'll love it! We did Feb one year and it was nice but it got a little cool sometimes. If we go to FL, I want the warm sun. This past winter seemed really cold in FL from what I saw on the news.

My DH owns his own business and he works 24/7 so if I don't take the reigns and plan stuff, it'll never happen. I'm so excited to go and have some time with my son, just one on one. There's going to be a lot of tears and jealousy from the other two little ones, but they'll live and they'll get their trips eventually.

Jealous! I'm hoping someday (probably once I go back to work) to do some one on one trips with my girls. As they are getting older I just think it'd be so fun and such a nice bonding trip.
