Headaches after bending over?

Has anyone experienced a type of headache you get after bending over?I think the pressure in the veins increase. It's been happening to me for about 10 days...I know, I have to see the dr. I already get migraines, I don't need MORE headaches!

After I bend over, I find my headaches usually disappear....

This happens to me if I have a lot of sinus pressure.

I get them too. Sometimes they're migraines, sometimes it's sinuses. I actually get headaches that are so bad, if I move my head, it feels like my brain is crashing into my skull. I have to stay very still during those suckers.

I hope you get some relief soon. They are very painful.

Thanks. The pain starts at the base of the skull and then moves up and to the front. Feels like someone is trying to get out of my skull with a hammer.

You should really see your medical professional as soon as you can. This type of headache can be what's called a "cough headache", and it might be something mild, or it might be something more symptomatic, which are due to impaction of herniated cerebellar tonsils at the foramen magnum.

Or it might just be a hangover. I often get headaches like those when I've had too many beers the night before. Usually another beer first thing in the morning will clear that headache right up.

Could also be related to blood pressure (high or low).

Get it checked out - rather safe than sorry!

Thank you! No drinking over here! I should add I have psoriatic arthritis so now I'm wondering if it's related to possible arthritis in my cervical spine.

My bp HAS been low lately (95/65). I had a brain/cervical MRI a year ago and it was normal.

I was experiencing the exact same thing about a month ago, my Dr. ordered an MRI. It turns out they are vascular(vein related). But if I were you I'd go get it checked out. Better safe than sorry.

My doctor told me it was probably from my sinuses. I get that, too.
