Thanks folks The Sensi decided to do it all in one day and it took 9.5 hours. He was pretty wiped out at the end but it was a good tired. He is now ranked as a "Shodan". And yes the Sake did flow after the test .

Congrats to your son!!! How old is he? My daughter went through an all day Black Belt test when she was 13yo and I know what a grueling test it can be....

DS is also 13. He did tweak his back a bit, but he should be alright in a day or two.

Congrats! My daughter is well on her way to hers too, she has passed though white, yellow, orange, camo, greeen, purple, blue and brown and is now a red belt, all she has left is red belt decided, black belt recommened and then black which she should have hopefully not long after her 7th birthday (she has been taking 4-5 classes a week for 3 years now) she is also going to start taking XMA (extreme martial arts) once she turns 7 too, she is very small for her age so I am waiting for her to grow a bit and get stronger because that is a tough class for them-even the big kids leave very sore.
She practices now every day at home and on vacation we have to bring the list of moves for her form so she can keep going over the new form even while on vcations now...

Congrats!! what did he get his black belt in? I use to be in Tae Kwon Do...but that was years ago! How old was he when started? I think I'll be starting ds5 here sometime soon. See if he likes it...
