Hddr?

we have reservations at the HDDR and we are on the DDP. i understand that if you are not on the DDP you pay ahead of time for your meal and get a ticket, like a show.
how does it work for a DDP? will i show my card as i enter? will it just be automatically taken off my card?
sorry if this is a dumb question, but the reason i want to know is i made a reservation for 8, but one is a 2yo. so i want to make sure he remains free.
also is there a way to pay(have it taken off the card) early and get my tickets early?

we're doing the HDDR on DDP this August.

When we did SoA at the Poly on the DDP in 2006, we picked up our show tickets from our Hotel Concierge at the WL. At the show, we gave our KTTW cards to have the credits removed as usual. HTH.

I would make sure Disneydine understands one is a 2 yo. If you're staying on property, you pick your tix up at your hotel concierge, if off, you need to go to the ticket window at PH.

We went in June 08, after checking in at our resort, I went to the concierge desk and picked up our ticket (all 7 was on one ticket) it took two TS off of our DDP card ( you had to show them your card I think they need it to swipe it,so if you have others in a different room you will need them to be with you,with their cards as well). When you made the ADR did they ask the ages of everyone in your party? If so then your fine, if not just tell them when picking up the ticket. Have fun at the show, we loved it!
