HDDR questions

1.) If you are on the dining plan do you have to pay 18% tip OOP at the dinner show?

2.) If making a reservation for a large group and some are on the dining plan and some are not what is the best way of doing it? Will the person making the reservation be charged on their CC for all those attending not on the DDP?

3.) And in regards to question #2 what happens after the booking if the dining plan is added at a later date?

The cost of the HDDR includes gratuity. If you'd like to tip your server extra, you certainly can (I have in the past), but that's up to your discretion.

Not entirely sure about the answer to the second question...if a credit card is charged and you later decide to pay for the meal using the dining plan, they can reimburse your credit card.

1.) Tip is already accounted for. Our servers have been great. If they keep the beer and sangria full, they get a little extra.

2.) I believe you tell them you have some on the dining plan and some not. They will use a credit card to hold the spots. If you no-show, then it gets charged. I believe you can supply a different card when you actually pay. In the past, we have paid at the resort prior to attending and then have our tickets with us. This may be an option as well. I would check with concierge. We did it this year and use dining plan and 2 table service points and it was really easy.

3.) If you book, you use your credit card to hold the spot. I don't believe they charge it. Let them know you're going to add the dining plan and then when you do, you can "pay" for it with your dining plan at the resort when you get there.
