Talking to an aunt of mine yesterday about WDW and our memories of going to FW in the late 70s. I asked her if we ever went to see the HDDR (I was pretty young on those trips and don't remember everything clearly).
She remembers going to a show like that, but swears it was in the MK and not at FW.
I told her I would go ask the experts. Does anyone know? Has the HDD always been at Pioneer Hall, or was it originally in the MK?
thanks

I remember a show that use to be at the Horseshoe Saloon in the MK in the 70's that was simular, but it wasnt the HDDR.

I may be wrong :confused3,, but I dont believe the HDDR was ever at the MK,

Could she be thinking of the Diamond Horseshoe Review?

YES! Thank you! It has to be the Diamond Horseshoe - I kept thinking Golden Horseshoe, but I knew that wasn't quite right. I can remember rushing into the park and my GM always wanting to go right there to get a reservation. (No ADRs in '78, I suppose)

That's gone, isn't it? Not anywhere in the kingdom anymore? I'm trying to make a list of things I want to run around taking pics of, since my GM is too old to get back down there. She loved our pics of the Fort, and the River country stuff.

I am new to the boards but have been going to disney since the mid 70's and the Diamond Horshow Review was always one of my favorites! I still have a pic of my Grandfather getting kissed on his bald head by the lady in the show and then Diamond Jim Brady Danced with my Grandmother.... Good stuff, too bad it's gone.
