We have been thinking about seeing HDDR for the last couple of years. Because it requires ressies we never did. We haven't even decided what days we are going to what parks yet. Or if we will go over to Universal.

So just for fun I plugged in three days from now for 6 people and they were available. Is this common? I thought they were booked out months in advance. I had considered seeing if I could get a cancellation when we go there (not sure on the inside scoop there either). We'll be there the first week of Feb.

It's no big deal if we don't see it this year. It is 50 bucks per adult and 26 bucks per child, so that will be over 250 bucks for the troop to see it.

I think you should at least got to it once, it is a good show. I think if you can get ressies for 6 of you I would take them, we got in once when our kids were young and it seemed liked they squeezed us into a spot on the side od the hall and had us in a high table with 4 like bar stools seats I did not care for that. My oldest son ( now 19) wants to go back and do it again but of course he wants to wait till he is 21( I wonder why:rotfl2:) I have been wanting to do it again so I guess we wait till then.

I've been putting in dates through the next two weeks and getting several days where they will take six people, in all three levels of seating.

I want to see it too, even if it does cost alot.

Remember draft beer and sangria are included in price (if you care to have them). Gratuity is included with price also. This kind of offsets the price.Great show.

Last time we saw the HDDR we got seating for 6 a week or so before as well. Maybe they've been having bit harder time filling seats 180 days in advance in this economy...as you have to pay upfront? We found the same thing with Cindy's breakfast too. Used to be very hard to get in there, but last year we had no problem booking it.

As others have said, if you can swing the cost you should definitely do the HDDR. I'm a big fan!

We go to HDDR every trip, we just love it that much. Seriously, my kids know all the words to the songs and my son has been the "Brave Texas Ranger" at the end of the show. Anyways, to the point, we have had luck a couple of times walking up to the ticket desk the afternoon of the show and gotten seats. The last time was even during Christmas when it was really busy. For whatever reason, it just doesn't seem to sell-out as easily as one would think.
