I booked HDD about a year ago & I thought CRO mentioned I could pick up the tickets in advance. Can this be done? If so, where?

If you are staying onsite, you can pick them up at the same time as you check into your resort.

Not sure how it works for offsite? :confused3

We're doing a split stay 1st polynesian & then YC. So can I pick up my tickets at the resort :confused3

Yes, you can pick up your tickets at Guest Services in the lobby of either resort during your stay.

WhenI checked in at POFQ in May there was a message on my reservation that my HDDR tickets were available for pickup. When we got to the room the message light was blinking on our phone. When I called to check I was again told that our HDDR were available for pickup. Believe me Disney will not let you forget your HDDR tickets.
P.S. The same thing happened in May of 2003 with our Luau tickets.

Thanks. I have another question. If I'm leaving from the Polynesian to go over to FW & have my tickets already for the 5:00 show, what time show we leave? (using disney transportation)

Using Disney tranportation, I would say you need to give yourself about an hour.

However (and someone correct me if I'm wrong), I think there's a walkway from the Poly to the Ticket and Transportation Center. If I recall correctly, it's about a 10 minute walk. And you can get a bus at the TTC directly to Fort Wilderness. If all this is still accurate, you probably only need to budget 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.

Glad I asked. I was thinking if I took the monorail or boat to MK & then a boat to FW I would save alot of time. I wasn't going to take a bus because I would have to take the internal bus at FW to get to HDD right?

Yes, you would have to take an internal bus. I don't know where the ferry docks; that might be your best direct route. But I'd still budget an hour for transport. :)

Thanks Mal. I regret not booking the 7:00 show :sad2:

If you take the ferry from the MK to Fort Wilderness the ferry dock is about a 2 minute walk from the HDDR. I don't think it took longer than 15 minutes once we got on the ferry to get from MK to Fort Wilderness. Enjoy the HDDR - it was tons of fun!

You should take the boat from Poly to MK, the dock is past the theme pool to the left. This boat goes directly to the MK. I believe this boat goes to the dock farthest to the left at MK. At MK go to the middle dock and wait for WL/FW boat. This boat will stop at WL first and then go to FW. Total time on the water should be about 1/2 hour, you might want to allow about another 45 minutes for wait/transfer time. As has been said the walk from FW dock to Pioneer Hall for HDDR is only about 2 to 3 minutes.

Thanks for the help. It just occurred to me that I'm probably going to run into a crowd at MK leaving the parade too so I'll definitely need some extra time.

If you see a guest relations window without a line, get your tickets then. With the MYW tickets and now the free dinning I predict that the lines at resort guest services will be LONGGGG. We went in April, four months after MYW was introduced. I got in line to get my HDDR tickets behind two people already at the desk and two other people in line. It took almost an hour. People don't understand the ticket options and don't know how to make a decision. One guy was on the cell phone with his wife. Another couple with two young children were trying to make all of their ADRs at guest services for the entire week. If I had known it would take so long, I would have gone when we returned in the evening and there were no other people in line.

Thanks for the advice
