We are heading to Disney for our honeymoon on 6/16 the day after we get married. We just discovered that True Blood also premiers that night. Does anyone know if HBO is offered at POR. Thanks

No premium channels at Disney Resorts.

Wow where are your priorities. You'll be at Disney!!! It is just a TV show. Use the dang DVR and make sure to tell all your friends that you do not want to here about the show until you get a chance to watch it first thing when you get back from your VACATION! :badpc: :mic: Sorry rant over!

Exactly, it's your Honeymoon after all. If you subscribe to HBO, you can also watch it later when you get home if you somehow don't have a DVR. There are ways to watch it on the go, but I will not support that during a honeymoon...LOL

No different than people looking for a place to watch a football game while at WDW. At least this will not be in the middle of the day, I assume its in the evening.

Geeze guys, don't jump on the person for what they like to do in their free time without any impact on others.

OP, I totally feel your pain. My wife and I (also honeymooned in Disney Feb 2012 !!!) love to watch our TV together. Just cuddle up and put on one of our favourite shows. We do this a couple nights a week and it is one of the few moments, no matter how busy we are, we set everything aside and just enjoy each other's company. Its an important time for us.

When we were at disney the same thing happened to us, we missed a few shows, yes we PVR'd them, but it isn't the same really. Just wanted to have those moments while at disney as well. Nothing wrong with enjoying disney for what it is, but bringing the things you like there as well.

But alas, no HBO at Disney.

We ended up watching stuff on the spark network, not our shows, but they worked. Funny, now whenever anything is on spark, it reminds me of Disney :)

Your trip will be awesome :)

Also, we are there May 5-17th, we are going to miss a couple weeks of Sunday HBO, and Amazing race ... going to have major catching up to do :)

Do you have HBO at home? You can usually watch their shows on HBOgo.com. The resorts all have free wifi now. So, maybe that can be an option.

Where are my priorities? It comes on at 9pm, we will be up since early the day before ( wedding day) and have not slept in over 24 hours and we plan on being back at the hotel in bed by 9pm so we can hit rope drop at Epcot the next morning. I will not apologize for choosing what we would like to on OUR vacation. Because that's exactly what it is OUR vacation. So if we want to lay in bed at 9pm and watch a TV show together that is OUR choice. Get off your high horse. And maybe next time you go on a "rant" why don't you try and consider the person, you don't know anything about our situation or our life. SORRY RANT OVER.......

Thank you, my fiancé was the one who was curious about it. Sundays are really the only time we get to spend with each other. We have a DVR and plan on recording it, but like you said it's still not the same thing!!

Thanks a Bunch

Really ppl OP simply asked a question not for your opinion, who are you to criticize?

In fact where are your priorities this board is to help and give info not to criticize!

We also enjoy our shows and make sure to DVR them while at Disney so we don't miss them, we are True Blood fans as well but our trip is in Sept!

Congrats on the wedding!

I second using HBO Go. Not sure if the Wifi is good enough to stream the entire hour, but it's worth a shot!
