Hawthorne suites palm parkway

I was just wondering if anyone has stayed here recently? We stayed at the hotel many, many years ago and we liked it and were thinking about staying there again.

I am at the Hawthorn Suites right now actually. I booked this hotel through hotwire with a very good rate - so it is good value for the money spent. The beds are comfy and the extra space and kitchen is really nice to have - saves a lot with food costs. It is not deluxe but perfectly acceptable, may be the rooms are showing some wear here and there but nothing I can't live with - breakfast is good, and complimentary drinks in the evenings Mon. - Thurs.

We stayed there last summer,and everything was fine for us;like the OP said,it's not deluxe,but the rooms are spacious,kitchen saved us BIG bucks,and the beds were comfy.Breakfast was so-so,but it fit our purposes-loved drinking as much milk,coffee,and juice we wanted.Happy Hour was ok-a couple of cold beers,salsa and chips the evening we went.This was our 3rd time staying here,and plan on staying again.The staff was really nice,and you can't beat the price or the location;at least we could'nt.We've enjoyed our stays here.
