We are staying at the Hawthorne Suite near Sea world, has anyone stayed there. Any information. Does anyone know what time the pool is open till and if we can walk to Sea World.

Thanks

Hi Suki,We stayed at Hawthorn Suites at Sea World (on Westwood Blvd) this past February. We thought it was great! We had a 1 Bedroom Suite. It had a small kitchenett,a living area with a sleeper sofa and a seperate bedroom with 2 full size (and very comfortable) beds! Yes,the hallways are long, the furnishings outdated but everything was clean and the staff was helpful.
We liked the free breakfast buffet, not a big variety but it was good. And they also have a shuttle to Disney but we did not use it so I cannot comment on that service.
It's only around 1/2 mile to Sea World. But I beleive the hotel has a shuttle to that also....not sure though.
The pool and jacuzzi were really nice.I do not remember seeing any signs for pool hour though. The jacuzzi is off to one side behind some shrubs and it's huge and gets really hot! There were towels on the deck too.
We really liked it alot! Take a look at Trip Advisor. They have alot of great reviews for this hotel...You might even see mine!
Oh yeah,we booked thru www.quikbook.com for $69 a night.
Well hoped this helped you out.

Hi Debbie

Thanks, I am so looking forward to this break. I have recently gone through a divorce thinking I will never go to Orlando again, With that my Sister phoned me to say that they are going on a cruise and when they get back to Tampa they are going to Orlando for 8 day, she said why don’t I fly out and met them, so I booked my flight straight away

Roll on November 12th

Sue :cheer2:

Hi Sue,Sorry about your divorce.I read about alot of people going to Orlando single.I have been trying to go single for awhile now and every time I say I'm going someone jumps up and says 'me too'.Geesh....I have never been on a trip by myself and would love to give it a try sometime. I also vacation with my sister and her family. We have a great time!
Don't let your divorce stop you from going on vacation. You would probably be suprised how much fun you will have!
Sounds like you deserve to have a great vacation!!
Go and have fun,
Debbie
