We have booked the hawthorn suites for two weeks in july.We have two kids 12 and 15 and have booked a one bedroom apartment. We wondered if anyone has any info on this place as it looks nice but, looking through the boards there doesn't seem to be anyone recommending this particular hotel although there has been a few good reports on the one at seaworld. It has free breakfasts and cocktail hours which seem to make it quite good value although i'm not sure what they actually consist of.

We're not hiring a car as the hotel has transfers to the parks.I wondered if this would be too much hassle especially if we wanted to go to get groceries etc. If anyone has any info on any of these things or anything else that would be helpful we'd appreciate it.

Hi Major,
you shouldn't have any problems getting groceries as the
street your hotel is located on runs parallel with international
drive which has many places you can go to get groceries within
walking distance.
Sorry I don't know anything about Hawthorn suites.
Hope I was able to help
Tracy

hi Tracy,
Im glad that the shops are close by and puts my mind at rest about us not hiring a car.
Thanks for your help. Major
