Hawthorn Lake Buena Vista

Has anyone stayed there? How was it? My parents made reservations there for our December trip since it has more room and is cheaper (unfortunately - I'd much rather stay in Disney but hey, at least we're going), and I'm just wondering how it is. There's supposedly a shuttle to WDW - how often does that come? We'll have a car, but it'd be nice to be able to go off to the parks on my own while my family is doing something else.

Haven't stayed there, but have stayed at the Hawthorn by the airport and the Hawthorn Universal, and they were cookie cutters of each other. The shuttle by Universal (although we didn't use it) seemed to come by regularly. Actually they were busses.

People seemed happy with them.
