Have any of you stayed at any of the RCI resorts available to us DVCers? Please give some feedback....looking to do a Hawaii trip and although I have been there several times I am not familiar with the RCI resorts.
You might want to post or link the list of RCI resorts offered to DVC to help tickle our memories? We stayed at the Bay Club Waikoloa (Big Island) in Nov 2002 and really enjoyed it -- I *think* it is on the RCI list. Loved the resort grounds. We returned to Waikoloa in July 2009 but stayed in a different HOA and felt more "distanced" from the action. Preferred the Bay Club.
Edited to add: I often rely on TUG Reviews for info on HI timeshare properties.

I've stayed at the Marriott's on Oahu, Kauai and Maui as well as the Westin on Maui and the two former Embassy's (now Kaanapali Beach Club and The Point) as well as the Wyndham Beachwalk. Of those KBC, The Point, and Wyndham's are RCI. RCI definitely falls behind II for HI overall, esp for Maui. I've been on property at most of the resorts on the DVC, RCI list including seeing rooms at most of them.
Of those 3, they are all reasonable choices. Other than that, add the hilton's and a couple of the other Wyndham properties on Kauai and a couple of others on the Big Island (Bay Club, KCR) and you've pretty much covered for reasonable availability. And most of those are still below the DVC level.
