Havng trouble booking Fantasmic dinner package

I am trying to book Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic Dinner Package but I am having trouble. i have entered the date in manualy on the website but it's still coming up with no availability. I have even phoned reservations but they haven't got the October dates on their system yet

I am trying to book for 2nd October and no i'm worried I won't get it...any ideas

You can't make a reservation until 180 days out, 2nd Oct works out at 5th April.

I just saw you were staying onsite, what is your resort check in date? Have you made any other reservations yet?

I arrive on the 22nd September, so I'm within the 180 plus 10. I have booked all my others up to the 4th October. I just can't book fantasmic package for the 2nd Oct

Although I can not see beyond 24th Sept to check I can see all dates upto the 24th. Only problem is every day I check is saying no availability and thats for all 3 restaurants. Surely not every one booked up? possibly an error with the site I don't know. I will try again later

I arrive on 24th September and can book up to the 4th October but it's showing Fantasmic! only up to the end of August.

The September packages haven't put up yet.

Have you tried entering the day manually? as I say I have checked upto 24th Sept no problem but you have to type in the date like this 09/24/2011 not missing the 1st 0 off for Sept, the Auto fill date does not work.

I've just managed to book Fantasmic! for September. I read on the Dining boards about changing the date manually (after about 5 tries when it kept changing it back today's date ).

Though now I have to change our park days around as I thought the 'dinner' would be earlier than 3:40pm and that's cutting it into our planned water park day

Not sure if this helps simply by shedding light on things but there is a problem with the ADRs system for the first few days of October at the moment.

My window opened to book yesterday. September was a breeze. October won't let me do a thing. I left it and tried again last night and today, but still came up with a server error at the confirmation stage.

I eventually did phone and the CM could not pull it up either. Apparently (and its the main system, not just the online one for the public to use) some of the restaurants have either not been loaded or have failed to load to the system. Some have got lucky becuase they have picked a restaurant which 'took' but there are many which are not available, even though they should be. Find comfort in the fact that nobody else is there snagging your chosen times because this has affected everyone.

Same here - I even phone club level IPO and they couldn't get me a Mama Melrose booking. I will just keep trying every couple of days.

I tried the date change manually and still didn't get any availability.

If we don't get one this time we will just give it a miss and try again next trip.

Anything is possible Wayne. They have probably been inundated with complaints and while trying to fix one problem, have broken the part of the site that was working

The other annoying thing is every time you enter one piece of info requested and hit confirm / continue it knocks everything else you have entered back to default and you have to keep signing back in and re-selecting your check in date ...... I was thinking this morning it would be quicker on the phone - only that didn't work either.

That sounds like what the CM was explaining on the phone. Some are in the system and others are not. But yes, incredibly frustrating. I didn't post about it yesterday as I knew I couldn't post an informative thread - it would have been a 100% rant and no use to anyone but myself

All the others I have book have been fine.....just typical.....what resturants are you waiting to book?

Crystal Palace (the one it won't let me book online or by phone) is the only one I am trying to get sorted asap

The others are non DDP participating restaurants and won't be a challenge to get so I am not worried about those. I was so frustrated with it yesterday and told DD if she really wants it, I will keep at it, but if not we can scrap the other ADRs, just get one or two for HoB and spend the money on an extra MNSSHP night. She was sold on that, but I woke up this morning and I was the one who really wanted CP - we always have a breakie and a lunch there. It would be strange without it. I can try putting it later in the trip if I can't get the day I want and see what happens.

They haven't even posted the Fantasmic! dinner packages for September yet

I was able to start making my ADRs today and it only shows up till the end of August. Now I shall have to check everyday because I don't know when they release them

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news , but they have released sept dates we had the same problem online trying to book , called WDW direct and a nice CM booked us all in over the phone..... Id call them now, good luck

Just to let you know I just tried a dummy booking for CP and it worked....you might want to try again

The real booking would work too - but right at the last stage where it generates a confirmation number it generated a system error and logged you out instead Lots of people having this problem, however I am posting to say that it finally worked just after my last post so hopefully that means it is working.
