Having TROUBLE with Virgin website!!

Hello folks I have tried to pre-book our seats for our hols next year on the Virgin website and it refuses to find our booking reference!! We noticed there's no date on it for '07 just day and month and flight number. What am I doing wrong???

easiest way is to ring Website Help 0870 380 2009. I rang them last week with an issue I had with their site. Spent about an hour trying to do it myself, took them 2 minutes to sort for me.

You may be trying to book the seats too far in advance. I believe it is only 336(?) or less before the site will acknowledge your booking. I remember I went through this same situation last year.

Yes its 336 days but should be able to view the booking but not make changes. I think, Not sure myself now.

330 days is generally the magic number when it comes to scheduled airlines. I have no idea if this applies to Virgin's seat booking facility, although it sounds perfectly feasible...

Its def 336 days got it from their site so I would ring them.

After 4 attempts at 'phoning Virgin holidays customer care and being cut off repeatedly I finally spoke to someone who could help me!! Seemingly the whole pre booking seats is NOT possible to do online until 11 months BEFORE THE RETURN FLIGHT DATE not the departure date!! Only then can I sort the seats out as long as they inform Virgin Atlantic and transfer our reference to them so I will try again in August!! Guess I've been having a whole blonde moment that lasts all day Not one of my better days but at least now I know the way they work now

Now I know the outcome I remember this happening to me a couple of years ago. Never had aproblem when booking flight only with VA its when you book package with VH, having to wait for them to transer the booking.
Glad you know why now.
