It also went on for a whole day, on and off. I was trying to make a payment on my upcoming Disney trip and kept getting card error messages. I knew my card was ok but you know how we start the "is it me?" routine. Lol. I finally called them and did it that way, but no one mentioned to me they were down. Only much later, when I called the app number, did I get a recording stating they were having technical difficulties.
