Having to take a break

My dear friends
You may have noticed that I have not been around much lately (although I have been lurking).
My health has not been the best (although on the mend now) and also have been helping to nurse my elderly grandmother through what are going to be her final weeks. I am also planning a WDW vow renewal for DH and myself, and being the obsessive planner that I am, this is taking up the small amount of spare time I have.
I was hoping to continue with my DISing. as I love doing it, but have been finding myself worrying about unfulfilled requests. Therefore, I have reluctantly decided that I must temporarily take a break. I am really, really sorry to all those of you who have outstanding requests but I really feel I would be making matters worse by letting things lie as they are, and would prefer to be honest and ask you to find another DISigner to help you at this time.
I am hoping the break will be brief and hope to be back in the thick of it all soon!!! In the meantime, feel free to use or adapt any of my DISigns. I will still be lurking and keeping keeping an envious eye on all the fantastic talent here!!!
Thank you for your understanding and for the unending love and support I have always found here on the most friendly of boards.

Glad to hear you are doing better and sorry to hear you are getting ready to lose a loved one. My prayers are with you and your family.
But most importantly congrats on your renewal of vows. How exciting and take all the time you need. Sounds like a big task that needs more attention so dont worry about us here. We'll be waiting with open arms.

I agree with everyone else......... family does come first and you need to rest and feel better. You've been really nice and encouraging when I first started, so Thank You. I also agree everyone here is so loving and sincere, it's a wonderful place. When you are "lurking" pop in to say hello and let us all know how you are.

Most of all - Enjoy the time you have left with your grandmother - I lost my grandmother about a year ago and miss her terribly. So take the time you need for yourself and family.

You will be missed here and when you are ready, know you'll come back to open arms of friends who are happy to see you again!!!

First thing first, your health, grandmother and your trip..I know how you can get bogged down with "stuff". My dad passed away on July 1st. and between that, a hospice house I work at, my daily duties (caring for my grandchildren while their mom and dad work) and putting the finishing touches on my upcoming trip I am busy..so I understand your need to take a break from designing...happy rest, and have a great trip and reap the rewards of your planning
