Having Problems with Honeymoon Registry?

I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence with the Disney Honeymoon Registry, but whenever my sister attempts to look up my registry, it says we (as in bride and groom) cannot be found!

She's tried first and last names, capitalized, not capitalized, bride, groom, everything she can think of, and nothing comes up! Yet no matter what computer I do it from, it always comes up fine! I'm worried this may happen for other guests who might want to contribute to the registry.

I can't think of what the problem might be. :confused3

Any one else have this issue?
 
do you have your registery gift card yet? If you do did you register it? Unless you have the card registered then it wont show up when you look for your registry! I hope that helps :D
 
Sure did! The gift card actually came a lot faster than I expected it too, and it's safely locked away in a box in the top of my closet. Activated it on the site and all, which is why this baffles me. :confused3

I wanted to see if it was a simple overlook on my part, before I call the Honeymoon Consultant and embarrass myself with a likely very obvious solution. :rotfl:
 
We didn't have that problem, but we did have an issue registering our gift card. Typed it in a few different times, still said something like 'invalid card'. Tried to register it the next day, it was already in the system.

I've had a TON of issues with my honeymoon registry! I've had to call 4 times now to get things fixed and mostly they just band-aid fixes, instead of fixing a problem so it doesn't happen again. From what I can sense from my time on the phone, they are having alot of problems with the registry.
 
That was my worry, Mermaid. That other people were having these problems, and it wasn't special to myself. With another 11 months before the actual honeymoon, I'm hoping my sister will be the only one with a problem.

My mom tried to purchase a $100 increment for my birthday and the reigstry just kept emptying her cart every time she went to pay!:headache: :mad: :furious:
 
How annoying! And this may seem snarky of me, because of course guests do not HAVE to give anything at all, but darnit! If they want to give something, I want the darn thing to work! LOL.

I think I'm going to have to put in a call to the Honeymoon Consultant anyhow, just to make sure that Sister isn't in some funky browser or something.

So yesterday I decided to buy myself one of my gifts on the honeymoon registry to see how the experience would be for my guests, I know another Disney Bride who kind of used it as a savings account and would add money to it every now herself.

So everything worked out ok on my sister's computer, I only bought a $5 Theme Park snack and everything went through ok. I'm going to try to do this on my computer and my mom's to see if I can idenitfy the problems. The employees at the Registry said that it must be the type of browser I am using.

Ony complaint I do have - the card print they give you si sooooo tiny!!!!:sad2:

I didn't monkey around with it too much after the purchase went through (it was the first time I was able to get to the purhase point so at least it was an improvement!) but DF jumped on the computer the second I stood up to check football and just printed the card and closed the browser, so I'm not show If you can resize the card any better.

Sorry to be such a complainer, but the registry has not been my friend! :rolleyes:
 
See, that was my thought. I was wondering if it all depended on the browser one was using. My sister swears by AOL, so she uses their main browser and was having difficulties. I told her to try IE, so hopefully that will help.

I actually considered using the registry as a savings account of sorts for myself as well. I've also noticed with registries that people are more apt to use them, if they see that others have. At least, that's been my experience, planning bridal showers / baby showers before for friends.

And you're not complaining! So far I've had nothing but problems with the registry as well, and I have to admit. It does not a happy bride make.

Yikes, if they don't work these problems out by the time we're going to register, we may just go with one of those non-Disney specific honeymoon registries.
