Having Park Hopper Confusion

Please help. My head is spinning as if I got off the Tea Cup ride. I am trying to register a 2004 Park Hopper pass in MyDisneyExperinece. com and the system is not accepting what I type in. This ticket is confirmed as non expired. What am I doing wrng? Thank you.

You'll need to convert it to newer ticket medium.

You need to call for any before 2007 is what it says on the ticket linking page on MDE. I was recently able to help friends get their non expiring hoppers from 2006 linked so they can make FP at 60 days. It took some doing, but CM was great, and had to get info from a supervisor, and luckily we knew who each ticket belonged to since they had marked them, and CM could match them up to the family members listed on MDE.
