Hello,
Our first trip home is coming up in June. We are taking the ME to Boardwalk Villas. Does anyone have experience with having groceries delivered to the resort? Who, how, how much? We'd like to be able to have breakfast in the room and then forrage for food during the day at the parks.

Thanks!
Teresa

We've used wegoshop.com in the past...

Marge is great and will pick up whatever you want (brand, generic, deli, etc)...

She does charge a delivery fee, but if you are buying a lot of groceries, its worth it..

We will definately use her again in the future...

I just sent my GardenGrocer.com order in for our June trip. It will be our first time using them, but I've only heard good things :) There is a $12 service fee for orders under $200 (free delivery if over $200) and the prices seem pretty good :mickeybar

I used Garden Grocer when we stayed at OKW in Dec. They were wonderful. It was very easy to shop online and they can even get somethings that are not listed (I also purchased some wine and beer).

They call when they are on their way to deliver, bring cold stuff in coolers, unpack it for you and will leave stuff at bell services if you are not there (the bell stands have fridges).

I hope this helps. I think the service charge was $10.

We have used wegoshop.com at the BCV 3 times, the last time was 1 1/2 years ago. We were very pleased with their service.
They guaranteed a 30 minute delivery window and they always met that. We could order whatever we wanted and choose a store if we desired. They even offer Sam's Club if that is of interest to you. The cost was the cost of the items ordered plus $11. We definitely saved more than that from buying at the BC Marketplace.
We will use them again in October

Is it really just the cost of the product + $11. That seems like a good deal. How do they make money?

I think that it WAS a good deal!!! We clearly saved more than the delivery fee. It was convenient and good service.
