Having a hard time, prayers please

Just sent my boys with my husband on vacation with out me , and I'm a little sad about that. I have never been away from them, execpt for a surgery when the kids were 3 mos. OK, time for me to cut the apron strings a little.

Had to stay behind for a few days because I got a last minute interview with my 1st choice district for teaching (just finished my teaching certification). The interview is on Monday. So please keep me in you thoughts and prayers. I would so love to work for this district (it is where I did my student teaching), and I miss my family.

In the meantime, don't wallow in the sadness. Do some girlie stuff that you normally couldn't do. Take a long bubble bath in candle light, watch some girl type movies. Anything that requires peace and quiet.

Good luck Terri! It is so important to like the district you are in. I love the people I teach with, but I really wish it was closer to the district I live in. Of course once you have so many years in a district you are there forever.
If I were you I would spruce up my teacher portfolio or whatever they use for interviews now (I've been where I am since 1988) and take a LONG NAP.

Thanks everyone you're making me feel so much better...I think I am going to call the hairdresser and squeeze a haircut in...never have time to do that with the kids. In fact I cut their hair last night. And my portfolio is up to date...thanks Robin...I was on another interview on Thurs. Also sending out a resume to my 2nd choice district. BTW the district that I interviewed with on Thurs called yeaterday and wants a second interview(trying to stall them a little... I will return that call Mon. after my interview.) A month ago I was convinced that I wasn't getting any interviews.

Pop Daddy, you are so funny The kicker is that they would have to be willing to take my DH Love him too!!! And he's good looking too, now wait...I was worried about the kids, but now you are adding to my stress level

Hello every one...I did survive my time away from my family. I truly appericiate all the prayers, and well wishes. I did my best at the interview, and it went great. But....it was a "Sorry, we decided to ...." ...But trying to focus on the fact that there must be another plan for me. Thanks again, please continue to say a little prayer that I get a job this month. Thank you everyone
