We are booked for POR in June, 2004. I keep thinking if they happen to offer the FTP then what will I do? I know, it is a little soon to worry. I'm not really worried because the worst that could happen is I would spend 5 nights at POR. If we did the FTP it would have to be AS, most likely sports. We stayed at POFQ last year and loved it. Will I be greatly disappointed with AS? It will just be me and DS13. He doesn't really care where we stay. I just keep reading all the negative comments about AS.

Why would you have to stay at AS if they offer FTP? You could still stay at POR for 7 nights for the price of 4. People are booking the FTP for all levels of resorts. Disney may offer room only codes in June 2004 which is what they did for this June. My understanding is that FTP stays begin in July this year. I do think there is a difference between the value resorts and the moderates, but no matter where you stay you'll still be in Disney!

I didn't make it very clear on my original post. Last June we got a good discount code and am hoping that will happen again in 2004. If so, I will keep my reservation at POR with the code. Even if they have the code for room only discounts and then have the FTP also I could not afford POR on the FTP. I guess I could but it would be much cheaper to do AS on FTP. I guess what I am getting at is I can't do the FTP at POR because the extra food for the extra days would just push me over the budget. I could do FTP at AS.

Will I be very dissappointed in AS after having stayed at PO?
